Ghanaian rapper Amerado Burner has voiced concerns about the negative impact of constant comparisons within the creative arts industry.
Speaking during an interview, the award-winning artist highlighted how pitting artists against one another stifles creativity and hinders collaboration.
"Comparison is killing our creative arts industry," Amerado stated, emphasizing that every artist has their unique style and journey.
He noted that such comparisons breed unnecessary rivalry, discourage innovation, and create divisions among fans and stakeholders.
Amerado called on industry players and fans to celebrate artists for their individuality rather than ranking them against each other. He also urged creatives to focus on their craft and ignore external pressures. His comments have sparked discussions about fostering unity and growth in Ghana's entertainment sector.
