Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reach divorce deal

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reached a divorce settlement after an eight-year legal battle, according to Jolie's lawyer.

The couple, who married in 2014 and share six children, separated in 2016 following allegations of abuse by Jolie. Pitt denied the claims and was not charged after a police investigation.

Their acrimonious split has involved disputes over child custody and a French vineyard, Château Miraval, which Pitt claims Jolie sold to harm his business.

Jolie’s lawyer stated she is relieved this chapter is over but continues focusing on family healing.

Despite earlier promises to keep the separation private, court cases revealed their contentious relationship.

Known as "Brangelina," the pair met in 2005 and were among Hollywood’s most prominent couples before their divorce.
