Five individuals in Argentina have been indicted over the October death of British singer Liam Payne, who fell from a hotel balcony after consuming alcohol, cocaine, and an antidepressant.
Three face manslaughter charges, including Payne's representative, the hotel manager, and a receptionist.
Two others, a hotel employee and a waiter, were charged with supplying him with drugs and are in custody.
Payne, 31, died at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, sparking global grief from fans and former bandmates.
Known for his struggles with substance abuse and fame, Payne’s death highlighted ongoing issues in his life.
