The video was filmed in 2024. Asantewaa explained that it marked her recovery from the scam. Reports suggest that Eyram, actor Aaron Adatsi's baby mama, was behind the deception.

In the video's description, Asantewaa wished herself a happy birthday. She added cheerful emojis to reflect her mood: "Happy birthday to me ✨????????."

She thanked fans and influencers for their support in the comments section. Many congratulated her for continuing with her building plans despite the setback.
