Ayisha Modi Claims She Paid $20K for Kwesi Arthur’s Seven Music Video
Social commentator Ayisha Modi claims she spent $20,000 on the song "Seven" by rappers Kwesi Arthur and Kwesi Slay. She made these claims during a TikTok Live session while interacting with fans.
Many viewers shared their opinions in the comments of her viral video. Ayisha stated that she financially supported Kwesi Arthur early in his career. She mentioned working with Ghanaian blogger Blagogee on the song, released on August 1, 2018.
During the live session, Ayisha encouraged viewers to check Blagogee's Instagram page for confirmation. She sang part of the song and reiterated her involvement in its production.
Ayisha revealed that she invested $20,000 into the project without receiving any money back. To promote the song, she bought three iPhones as gifts for promoters who helped make it popular.
"I wanted the song to be a hit," she explained. It had been around for six or seven years without success.
Reactions to her claims varied widely. Some people found it hard to believe she spent so much on "Seven." Others praised her and called her names like "nation's helper" due to her past support for other celebrities.
Comments included jokes about her spending habits and questions about where her family was during this time. One user humorously referred to her as "IMF - International Modi Fund."
In another instance, Ayisha claimed she also funded popular YouTuber Dr Likee's first movie series without expecting repayment. This revelation sparked mixed reactions online as well.
