BET: Black Sherif receives 3rd nomination

Ghana’s Black Sherif has received a BET Award nomination for the third time.

He gained fame in 2021 with his song "First Sermon." In 2022, he was nominated for Best International Flow. He lost to Gabonese rapper Benjamin Epps but won the award in 2023.

For the 2025 BET Awards, Black Sherif is up against several artists. His competitors include Any Gabrielly and Mc Luanna from Brazil, Ayra Starr and Rema from Nigeria, Bashy and Ezra Collective from the UK, Joé Dwét Filé and SDM from France, Tyla from South Africa, and Uncle Waffles from Swaziland. They are all vying for the Best International Act Award.

This nomination follows the success of his second album, "Iron Boy." The album has received critical acclaim and commercial success.

Additionally, Black Sherif is nominated for Artiste of the Year at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs). This event will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
