Bawumia’s Ghana card claims are hollow – Mzbel speaks out after being stranded

Veteran singer and radio personality Mzbel criticized the Ghana Card after being denied its use during a travel issue.

While returning to Ghana with her children, she misplaced her passport and essential documents but was stranded when officials refused to accept her Ghana Card for clearance.

In a social media video, she questioned its reliability, given Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's promotion of it as a vital identification tool.

Mzbel had to seek help from the Ghanaian embassy, highlighting systemic inefficiencies and undermining claims about the card’s utility.

She also linked her experience to Dr. Bawumia’s defeat in the 2024 NPP primaries, stating, “This is the same card he said could be used for everything.”
