Bawumia’s acceptance of defeat prevented chaos in Ghana – KSM

Renowned Ghanaian comedian KSM praised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his key role in maintaining peace after the 2024 elections.

In a YouTube video, KSM noted that Bawumia's swift concession of defeat eased tensions when suspicions of delays from the Electoral Commission (EC) stirred unrest.

Both the NPP and NDC monitored real-time results, and as victory leaned toward John Dramani Mahama, Bawumia's timely acceptance calmed fears of potential chaos.

KSM emphasized that this move averted a crisis and helped Ghana transition peacefully.

The EC officially declared Mahama president-elect on December 9, with 56.55% of the votes.
