Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Salma Mumin has opened up about the negative impact of being labeled a "slay queen" in the entertainment industry.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo monitored on Accra FM monitored by Virgin Blogger, Salma revealed how the tag affected her reputation and career.

She explained that the stereotype often carries a superficial connotation, overshadowing her hard work as an actress and businesswoman.

“It hurt me because people overlooked my achievements and only focused on the slay queen label," Salma stated.

Despite the challenges, she emphasized that the experience motivated her to prove critics wrong by excelling in her craft and entrepreneurial ventures.
