Bishop Agyinasare Confesses He Was High When He First Went to Church

Archbishop Charles Agyinasare recently shared his journey to Christianity. In a viral video, he explained how a young woman influenced his spiritual awakening. He spoke during an interview with Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning.

Agyinasare was deeply involved in immoral activities before his transformation. He worked as a private tutor and offered extra classes at home. During one session, he met a family with two daughters.

He became interested in one sister. She told him, "My boyfriend is Jesus, and I’d like to introduce you to Him." Initially amused, he decided to attend church if it would impress her.

On that day, he arrived at church under the influence of drugs. He wore casual clothes and sat at the back of the congregation. His main focus was on leaving quickly to talk to the girl afterward.

However, something profound happened during the service. The preacher made an altar call, and Agyinasare felt a powerful shift in his spirit. He experienced God's presence and broke free from alcohol and tobacco addiction.

From that moment on, he never returned to smoking cigarettes. Agyinasare credited divine intervention for overcoming years of addiction in an instant. After embracing faith, he chose not to engage in relationships until marriage five years later.

This year marked his fortieth wedding anniversary with Vivian, his only kiss over four decades. Reflecting on his past, Agyinasare aims to leave a legacy of education for young people.

He encourages youth not to underestimate their beginnings and envision greatness for their futures.

Earlier this year, Agyinasare criticized Ghanaian authorities for failing to stop illegal mining activities. He expressed concern about water body degradation compared to other nations rich in resources.

In another conversation with YEN.com.gh, a climate activist discussed why galamsey should be halted immediately.
