Bishop Agyinasare Confesses He Was High When He First Went to Church
Archbishop Charles Agyinasare recently shared his journey to Christianity. In a viral video, he explained how a young woman changed his life. This interview took place on Prime Morning with Roselyn Felli.
Agyinasare is the Founder and Prelate of Perez Dome Chapel International. He recalled being deeply involved in immoral activities before his transformation. At that time, he worked as a private tutor.
During one tutoring session, he met a family with two daughters. He was interested in one sister, who said, "My boyfriend is Jesus." She offered to introduce him to Jesus. Amused but intrigued, he decided to attend church to impress her.
On that day, he arrived at church under the influence of drugs. He wore casual clothes and sat at the back of the congregation. His main focus was on speaking with the girl after the service.
However, something profound happened during the service. The preacher made an altar call that changed his life forever. Although he couldn't recall the exact words spoken, Agyinasare felt a powerful shift within him.
In that moment, God freed him from alcohol and tobacco addiction. Remarkably, he never returned to smoking after that day.
Agyinasare emphasized that divine intervention helped him overcome years of addiction instantly. After embracing faith, he chose not to engage in relationships until marriage five years later.
He celebrated his fortieth wedding anniversary this year with his wife Vivian. "The only woman I’ve kissed in these four decades is Vivian," he stated proudly.
Reflecting on his past, Agyinasare aims to leave a legacy for young people. He encourages youth not to underestimate their beginnings and envision greatness for their futures.
Earlier this year, Agyinasare criticized Ghanaian authorities for failing to stop illegal mining activities known as galamsey. He expressed concern over environmental degradation affecting water bodies in Ghana compared to other nations rich in resources.
