Bongo Ideas urge Ghanaians to boycott Rapperholic

Controversial Ghanaian social commentator Bongo Ideas has called on Ghanaians to boycott Sarkodie’s annual Rapperholic concert.

In a post that has stirred debates on social media, Bongo Ideas criticized the event, describing it as repetitive and overpriced.

He alleged that Sarkodie prioritizes profits over delivering quality experiences for his fans, claiming that the artist has failed to innovate or bring fresh energy to the show over the years.

“Year after year, it’s the same performance and overpriced tickets. Sarkodie’s fans deserve better,” Bongo Ideas wrote.

While some fans agreed with his sentiments, others defended the rapper, arguing that Rapperholic remains one of the most iconic music events in Ghana, consistently showcasing top-tier performances from Sarkodie and other artists.
