Burna Boy explains why he left the stage after encounter with the fan

Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has explained his controversial departure from the stage after kicking a fan during his 2025 Greater Lagos Countdown concert.

Initially set to perform for 10 minutes, Burna extended his set to nearly an hour due to the crowd's energy.

However, the situation took a turn when a fan unexpectedly jumped on stage, invading his personal space.

Burna, citing his struggle with PTSD, expressed discomfort with the intrusion, stating, "Don’t jump on my stage like that!"

This prompted his immediate exit, as he emphasized the importance of boundaries and personal safety during performances.
