The 12th Ghana Movie Awards took place on Saturday, January 18, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The event celebrated excellence in Ghana’s film industry, presenting awards in 21 categories, including Cinematography, Directing, Editing, Costume and Wardrobe, Production Design, and Sound Mixing.

Notable winners included Nana Ama McBrown, who received the *Favourite Movie Actress of the Year* award, and comedian Clemento Suarez, who was named *Favourite Actor of the Year*.

The prestigious ceremony highlighted the achievements of filmmakers and actors, further cementing their contributions to Ghanaian cinema.

This year’s edition continued to showcase the industry’s talent and creativity, inspiring growth and recognition both locally and internationally.
