Children don’t deserve beating – Bovi

Nigerian comedian Bovi Ugboma has spoken out against the practice of beating children as a form of discipline.

In a recent appearance on *The Honest Bunch* podcast, Bovi expressed that children should not be physically punished, regardless of their behavior.

He questioned the intention behind such actions, asking whether the goal is correction or frustration.

Additionally, Bovi criticized the tradition of senior students punishing juniors in schools, stating that no child should be given authority over another in the name of seniority.

He called for an end to this practice, emphasizing the need for more positive and respectful ways of guiding children.
