Cost of living Accra is expensive compared to Europe- Joyce Dzidzor Mensah

Germany-based Ghanaian singer and socialite Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has raised concerns about the high cost of living in Accra compared to Europe.

In a Facebook video, she highlighted the stark differences in affordability, particularly for food and rent. "In Europe, a reasonable budget can fill your shopping basket. In Accra, basic groceries are shockingly expensive," she lamented.

While utility bills are higher in Europe, Joyce questioned why living expenses in a developing country like Ghana are so exorbitant. She also criticized Ghanaian farmers for allegedly using unapproved chemicals to speed up crop growth, posing health risks to consumers.

Her comments have sparked discussions about the rising cost of living in Ghana and the need for stricter food safety regulations.
