Rapper Wiz Khalifa has sparked debate by suggesting couples should date for at least a decade before tying the knot.

Speaking on the *Club Shay Shay* podcast, Wiz explained that this time frame allows partners to truly understand each other, their families, and their habits before committing.

“Ten years is enough to know the person, their family, and what you’re dealing with when you live together,” he stated.

Wiz’s comments come from personal experience. He married Amber Rose in 2013 after welcoming a son but divorced three years later due to irreconcilable differences.

Currently, Wiz is in a five-year relationship with Aimee Aguilar, with whom he recently had a daughter. His perspective has sparked discussions on the ideal timeline for relationships.
