Highlife musician Rex Omar believes the election of six parliamentary candidates from the creative arts sector will change public perception of the industry.
Speaking on Property FM, he noted that creatives entering politics were often criticized unfairly.
Omar emphasized that politics isn't exclusive to specific professions and expressed excitement about these young creatives entering parliament.
He believes they will advocate for the creative arts, highlighting its potential to generate jobs for youth.
