Musician Criss Waddle has criticized members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for defending Sammy Gyamfi.
He believes Gyamfi should be rebuked to learn from his mistakes.
Waddle argues that it is inappropriate for a public servant to keep dollar bills in his car.
Giving money away in public view is even worse, he says.
This behavior insults grassroots supporters who fought for power but lack opportunities.
In a social media post, Waddle stated, “Let’s not make excuses for Sammy Gyamfi. We need better behavior from our politicians. He messed up big time. Having dollars in the car is bad enough; gifting them out is worse when some party members are struggling.”
Meanwhile, Sammy Gyamfi has apologized to Ghanaians for his actions.
He claimed he was just trying to help someone in need.
Gyamfi thought he was acting privately but later realized he was filmed.
He also apologized to party members upset by his actions.
