Curttix reflects the hustle of life in new song titled 'Paa o Paa'

Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Curtis Opoku, known as Curttix, has a new single. This song explores the cycle of life and the struggle for survival.

Curttix shared that he was inspired by his skepticism about life. He said, "It reflects on the delay-filled survival path of man." He noted that even after achieving our desires, we still die and leave everything behind. He emphasized how hard it is to get what we want in the first place.

The chorus features the Ghanaian slogan "Paa ooh Paa." This phrase describes daily hustle, from the President to everyday workers. Curttix uses palm wine as a metaphor for risky work.

He explains, “If you’re a laborer called to carry palm wine, you do it despite the smell and flies.” This metaphor highlights the tough reality many face just to survive.

The song covers more than just work; it reflects life's journey. It touches on being born, growing up, marrying, and facing life's ups and downs. It serves as both a lament and tribute to human perseverance.
