Highlife star Kwaku Dua, known as 'Dada KD', has died.
His manager, King Pee, confirmed the news to the media.
Pee told myjoyonline that Dada KD fell ill on Friday, May 16, 2025. He became inactive and could not speak.
The singer-songwriter was rushed to Gbawe SDA Hospital in Accra. Sadly, he died on Friday evening.
Dada KD was scheduled to perform in London on May 25. The show aimed to celebrate Highlife and Hiplife music.
His most popular song is "Fatia Fata Nkrumah." He was also loved for hits like "Odo Mu Anigye," "Ene Me Nye," "Yebeye Yen Ho Fi," "So Mu Gye," and "Obiaa Se Eye."
