Highlife singer Dada KD has decided to stay away from politics.
He shared this on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo show.
“The strength for that is no longer there,” he explained to Nana Romeo.
“I don’t have time for these conversations anymore,” he added.
Dada KD said he is focused on his life and music.
“When it’s time to go, I will leave,” he stated.
He expressed concern about drinking due to political stress.
A listener suggested former President Nana Akufo-Addo should buy him a car.
“Why, am I his child?” Dada KD humorously replied.
He mentioned that he is part of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) “family.”
However, he clarified that he is not a card-bearing member.
“I didn’t get anything from the party,” he noted.
Despite challenges, he remains loyal to the NPP.
Regarding President John Mahama’s new administration, he was cautious.
He simply said, “Let’s see what they do.”
