Davido announces fifth album drops early 2025

Afrobeats star Davido has announced plans to release his fifth studio album in early 2025, describing it as a "real African record."

While details about the album’s title and collaborations remain undisclosed, Davido revealed an upcoming single, Funds, featuring rapper Odumodublvck and singer Chike, set to drop soon.

He praised Odumodublvck as Nigeria’s biggest rapper and likened Chike to Bryson Tiller.

Despite global opportunities, Davido reaffirmed his commitment to staying in Nigeria.

Rising to fame in 2012 with Dami Duro, Davido has since delivered several successful albums, including Timeless (2023).
