Davido pledges ₦300m to orphanages to mark 32nd birthday

Grammy-nominated singer Davido has announced plans to donate N300 million to orphanages across Nigeria through his Davido Adeleke Foundation (DAF) as part of his annual birthday charity initiative.

This donation will also support a charity focused on preventing drug abuse and addiction among youth.

Established in 2022, DAF has already raised millions to aid orphanages, impacting thousands of children.

Last year, it donated over N200 million, benefiting 13,818 children.

Davido expressed his ongoing commitment to this cause, emphasizing the foundation's mission to provide lasting support to vulnerable children across Nigeria.
