Don’t you dare show my movies without buying them – Lil Win warns Ghanaian TV stations

Ghanaian comedian Lil Win has warned television stations in Ghana. He told them not to show his movies without permission and payment.

He expressed that Ghanaian actors face disrespect from these stations. He believes this situation needs to change.

Lil Win pointed out that TV stations buy foreign telenovelas for large sums. However, they do not support the local movie industry in the same way.

He addressed all TV station CEOs directly. “You can spend money on foreign films but ignore our work,” he said.

He added, “Don’t take my movies and air them for free.” If they do, he will take legal action against them.

Lil Win emphasized that he will fight back if necessary. “If you think money can frustrate me, think again,” he warned.

His warning follows similar complaints from Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye. She criticized Ghanaian TV stations for airing her films without permission.

She stated, “Don’t show my movies; I haven’t given you permission.” She used to be open to discussions but now refuses any offers.

Bimbo is determined to protect her work and will not let others profit from it.
