Dzifa Gomashie appointed Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Member of Parliament for Ketu South Constituency, as Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.

A distinguished actress, film producer, and scriptwriter, Dzifa Gomashie previously served as Deputy Minister in the same ministry from 2013 to 2017.

She played a key role in initiatives like the Ghana Culture Policy and the Creative Arts Industry Bill.

Dzifa Gomashie holds a Master’s in African Studies and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, both from the University of Ghana. She is also a Queen Mother in the Aflao Traditional Area and a strong advocate for African arts and heritage.

Her vast experience in culture and the arts, both locally and internationally, promises impactful leadership in her new role.
