For 17 years, renowned playwright Ebo Whyte and Roverman Productions have enriched Ghana’s theatre scene with thought-provoking plays addressing key social issues.
To commemorate their 60th production, the company presents The Ex Factor this weekend at the National Theatre.
The play explores themes of money, love, and pride, focusing on how individuals define their worth. It tells the story of twin brothers Pee and Kay, who equate value with material wealth, while others, like Viva, measure worth by dignity.
As characters' ambitions and loyalties clash, the play reveals that the ultimate prize isn't wealth, but the power to shape one's destiny.
Running from April 4 to April 6, with encores from April 11–13, The Ex Factor promises to continue Roverman’s legacy of compelling storytelling.
