Cynthia Morrison, a former MP for Agona West, has made a bold statement. She said she would not leave her husband if she caught him cheating.
Morrison, who was also a Gender Minister, explained her reasoning. If she sees her husband with another woman, she would simply take him home.
She emphasized that even if someone tells her about his infidelity, she will not leave him. Morrison believes the next man she meets could be worse than her husband.
She made these comments during an interview with Joy News on April 24, 2025. In the interview, she accused Christopher Arthur of trying to divide her family.
Arthur is the New Patriotic Party’s candidate for Agona West in the 2024 elections. Morrison stated that Arthur had claimed her husband encouraged him to run against her.
She expressed confusion over this claim since Arthur knows how close she is to her husband. “Even if I see him with a lady,” Morrison said, “I will just pick him up and we’ll go home.”
Morrison concluded by saying it’s better to appreciate what you have.
