Evergreen Movement Band advocates more brass band patronage 

The Evergreen Movement Band is urging more support for brass band music in Ghana.

Band Leader Benjamin Doke spoke to Becky on the Evibes Musical Band Series. He expressed worry about the declining support for brass bands. Doke highlighted that brass bands are essential for promoting all music genres. They also showcase the richness of Ghanaian music.

“We need patronage,” he said. “People don’t support brass music enough. It makes us feel left out.” He encouraged people to appreciate brass music, as they can play every genre.
