Fameye Recovers YouTube Channel After Hack

Fameye, the newly crowned Highlife Artiste of the Year at the 26th TGMAs, has regained his official YouTube channel. The channel was hacked and deleted on May 26, 2025.

This hacking happened just days before his album release. Fans were concerned it might affect his plans for new content.

On May 26, Fameye shared his frustration on Facebook. He wrote, “My YouTube channel hacked & deleted. I’m sure I’m gonna get it fixed ASAP cos?”

The next day, he announced the recovery of his channel on X. He thanked those who helped him restore it.

“Big love to KwameBaahGH. My YouTube account is back & kicking,” he tweeted. He encouraged fans to subscribe and get ready for his album.

It’s a relief that Fameye's channel is restored as he prepares to release new music. He has hinted at an upcoming album.

Fameye is known for hits like “Nothing I Get” and “Mansa.” His YouTube platform has millions of views and a strong following.

His channel plays a crucial role in promoting his music globally. This makes him one of Ghana’s most prominent highlife artists.
