Koo Fori: Actor Arrested Over Alleged $50K Fraud

Veteran Ghanaian actor Seth Kwabena Kyere Karikari, known as Koo Fori, has made headlines. A video of him in handcuffs surfaced on social media on May 9, 2025.

Reports say he was arrested for allegedly defrauding a US-based Ghanaian businessman of $50,000. Koo Fori is famous for his role as a drunkard in the comedy-drama series *Efiewura*.

In a video shared by Atinka TV, police escorted him to the Accra central police command. He is also the general manager of Bryt TV, an Accra-based broadcast station.

It remains unclear if the arrest is real or part of a movie project.
