Funke Akindele’s film Everybody Loves Jenifa has grossed over ₦1 billion in just 19 days, setting a record as West Africa's fastest movie to achieve this milestone.

With over 201,000 ticket admissions, the film claims 40% of December’s box office revenue.

Internationally, it earned $194,560 (₦300 million) within eight days of release across the UK, US, Canada, and other regions, with sold-out screenings in major cities like London and New York.

Akindele celebrated this success, thanking fans on social media.

Combining humor, drama, and social commentary, the movie solidifies her as a Nollywood icon, resonating with audiences globally and becoming one of the top box office hits in both Nigeria and Ghana.
