Actress Martha Ankomah has rejected Kumawood actor Lil Win's public apology in a GH¢5 million defamation case, deeming it insufficient as a retraction.
The case, initiated in February 2024 over Lil Win's alleged disparaging comments, is now pending an acceptable apology through ongoing settlement discussions.
The High Court in Accra adjourned the case to February 25, 2025, for updates on a potential settlement.
The recent proceedings on December 13, 2024, were held privately for three hours, with both parties and their lawyers present.
Ankomah is seeking damages, an apology, and a retraction with equal prominence to the defamatory remarks.
