GTA unveils final line-up for December in GH 2024 events

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and Beyond the Return Secretariat have unveiled the 2024 December in GH calendar, featuring diverse events that celebrate Ghanaian culture and heritage.
Launched in 2019 as part of the Year of Return, the initiative has become a key driver of tourism, attracting global visitors.
This year’s program aims to foster cultural connections and boost economic benefits for SMEs, artisans, and creatives.
Tourism has seen impressive growth, with 1.15 million visitors in 2023, a 25% increase from 2022. The GTA targets 1.3 million visitors in 2024.
Events like these strengthen Ghana’s economy and cultural preservation.
