Highlife legend Paulina Oduro has dismissed claims that she said Kofi Kinaata is “bigger” than the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Speaking on ShowBiz Today on Empire 102.7 FM, she urged bloggers to report accurately, stating, “Kofi is a big artiste and loved across Ghana, but TGMA has been around for years—he can’t be bigger than the show.”

The controversy arose after Kinaata was excluded from the Artiste of the Year* category despite multiple nominations for his *Kofi oo Kofi* EP. Disappointed fans expressed frustration, and Oduro’s words were misinterpreted.
