Ghana Comedy Awards 2025 slated for 24th May

The Ghana Comedy Awards will be held on May 24, 2025.

The venue is La Palm Royal Beach. The event starts at 7 PM with a red carpet. The main event begins at 8:30 PM.

This year’s awards aim to honor the best comedians. They will recognize those who showcased their talents from January 1 to December 31, 2024.

This is the second edition of the Ghana Comedy Awards. It was rebranded from the Comedy and Poetry Awards.

Tickets are now available for purchase. Silver tickets cost GHc200, while Gold tickets are GHc300.

Attendees can enjoy performances from top comedians like Jeneral Ntatia and OB Amponsah. Other acts include Clemento Suarez, Lekzy Decomic, Jacinta, Okokobioko, and MJ the Comedian.

Great musicians will also perform during the night.

Voting for favorite comedians closes at midnight on May 23. Fans can vote by dialing *920*313# and entering nominee codes as they prefer.
