Ghana Music mourns: Michael Adangba pays emotional tribute to late Lazzybwoy

The Ghana music industry is reeling from the loss of talented musician Lazzybwoy, who passed away on Friday due to kidney failure.

His death has prompted an outpouring of grief, with fellow musician Michael Adangba sharing a touching tribute on social media.

Adangba, reflecting on their shared struggles, wrote, “Even though I saw your craft online and I was happy with your talent, such a great talent of the North. When you met me at the Tamale Teaching Hospital on my routine check-ups, little did I know you were having the same problem.”

He expressed deep sorrow over the lack of early diagnosis and proper treatment that continues to claim lives.

“Lots of people are dying slowly with these kinds of sickness due to late diagnosis and treatment or management.”

Lazzybwoy was celebrated for his contributions to the Northern music scene, inspiring younger generations with his unique artistry.

Adangba acknowledged his legacy, stating, “You have raised the Northern music talent high with your craft for the younger ones to follow.”
