Ghana Tourism Authority calls for event proposals for December in GH 2025

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) is seeking event proposals for December in GH 2025. This initiative showcases Ghana's vibrant culture, heritage, and entertainment.

The event will run from December 1, 2025, to January 3, 2026. It promises a month-long celebration of music, fashion, art, culture, and nightlife.

Maame Efua Houadjeto, CEO of the GTA, describes it as a "movement." She believes it showcases Ghana's vibrant spirit to the world.

Event organizers and cultural curators are invited to submit proposals. The deadline for submissions is Monday, June 16, 2025.

A selection committee will review all proposals. They aim to ensure high-quality events that reflect Ghana's creativity and hospitality. Selected events will be included in the official December in GH 2025 calendar.

Annabelle McKenzie, Director of the International Affairs Secretariat, is excited about new ideas. She noted that this time attracts the global diaspora back home.

"It’s a chance to experience Ghana’s culture and warmth," she added.

The December in GH campaign boosts tourism and strengthens cultural industries. It reinforces Ghana’s reputation as Africa's gateway.
