Ghanaian musician M.anifest attributes the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) loss in the 2024 general elections to widespread dissatisfaction with how the country was managed.
Speaking to the BBC, he noted that while Ghanaians voted for change, confidence in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leadership remains cautious until they show results.
He emphasized the growing demand for accountability, particularly among the youth facing high unemployment.
M.anifest pointed out that young people are increasingly vocal about issues like illegal mining and expect everyday accountability, not just change during elections.
