Ghanaian musician Safo Newman has addressed criticism about his introverted nature, explaining it stems from his temperament.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Newman noted that Ghanaians often resist unconventional personalities, unlike other cultures that embrace uniqueness.
He cited artists like Carpetman, Melanie Martinez, and Sia as examples of celebrated individuality worldwide.
Newman, who gained fame earlier this year, stated that his reserved demeanor led to misconceptions in school about his abilities.
Despite online trolls, the Akokoa singer is unbothered by negative comments and focuses on clarifying unrealistic claims while ignoring unhelpful critiques.
He urged Ghanaians to be more open to diverse personalities in the entertainment industry.
