Gifty Anti honoured as Impactful Female Celebrity of the Year at inaugural Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards

Oheneyere Gifty Anti, a renowned broadcaster and philanthropist, received the Impactful Female Celebrity of the Year 2024 award. This honor was given at the first Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards.

Currently, Oheneyere is on a humanitarian tour of orphanages in Ghana. She recently completed the first leg in the Western and Central regions. During this tour, she visited six orphanages and distributed insecticide-treated nets to about 500 children and caregivers.

After receiving her award, she expressed gratitude and commitment to social good. She stated that making an impact is her greatest legacy. “All glory to God,” she added, emphasizing her role as a vessel for change.

Her outreach included visits to orphanages in Ellembelle, Egyam (Ahanta West), Anto (Shama), Komenda, Gomoa East, and Awutu. With help from the National Malaria Elimination Programme, she provided treated nets and refreshments to combat malaria.

Oheneyere plans to continue her efforts in the Volta Region next. She will visit Kpando, Akatsi, and Keta this Tuesday with her team.

She highlighted that making an impact is crucial for her mission. Oheneyere hinted at a media interview after returning from Volta to discuss her journey.
