American rapper Jeffrey Bruce Atkins, popularly known as Ja Rul,e has advised Ghanaian creatives to embrace education as a key tool for success, stating that talent alone is no longer sufficient in today’s evolving industry.
Speaking after his visit to the National Museum in Accra on March 31, 2025, he emphasized that formal education enhances adaptability, particularly with trends like artificial intelligence reshaping the creative landscape.
According to him, understanding the music industry goes beyond talent—it requires continuous learning in areas like songwriting, composition, and business strategy.
Ja Rule, who is in Ghana to inaugurate a classroom block at Nuaso Anglican Primary School, expressed his commitment to supporting educational initiatives for creatives.
He believes education unlocks new opportunities and strengthens artistic innovation.
