Ghanaian Marriage Counselor PV Jantuah Boateng Dadson sparked controversy on Pure FM by claiming that Ghanaian laws do not explicitly ban polygamy or men seeking relationships outside marriage.
During a live show discussing a listener's marital issues, Jantuah defended a man who, after losing his job, started a relationship with another woman due to his wife’s criticism.
Jantuah argued that men have natural desires that society doesn't understand, and that pursuing peace in another relationship could benefit mental health.
When asked if his comments promoted infidelity, Jantuah denied it, stating that societal labels misunderstood the complexities of relationships, and that God does not forbid polygamy.
