God told me not to cut my hair – Pastor Jimmy Odukoya shares divine encounter

Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Jimmy Odukoya, has revealed that his decision to keep dreadlocks was guided by a divine instruction.

Preaching in a recent sermon, he recounted asking God whether to cut his hair before returning to Nigeria—and receiving a clear message not to.

Odukoya shared a striking encounter with a woman who confirmed a 2016 vision in which she saw him with long hair giving her divine guidance, even though he didn’t wear dreadlocks at the time. He believes his hair became a signpost of destiny, allowing her to recognize him in 2025.

According to Odukoya, what some view as a mere style choice is actually a symbol of purpose and obedience, emphasizing that God's plans often unfold beyond human understanding.
