Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2025: 180 days until big day

The world eagerly awaits the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards. This event is set for November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Center in Accra.

The awards are known as Africa's biggest DJ event. This year marks the 13th edition of the awards. The theme is ‘Shake the Floor,’ highlighting DJs' important roles.

‘Shake the Floor’ represents a celebration of music's power. It brings people together and creates unforgettable moments. The theme also honors DJs' contributions to music and African culture.

Merqury Republic organizes this prestigious ceremony. It is proudly sponsored by Guinness Ghana and powered by Smirnoff. Over 12 years, it has become an international celebration of DJ culture.

The awards showcase diverse talents from Ghana and beyond. DJs from countries like the USA, Denmark, Brazil, and South Africa have participated.

For this year's event, more than six performances are already confirmed. Many performers will be announced at the launch on July 12.

Last year's edition featured top DJs like DJ Lord OTB and DJ Sonatty. Memorable performances included Edem, Merqury Quaye, and Andy Dosty.

This year introduces a sound clash between two renowned reggae DJ groups. This segment celebrates Jamaican music culture and will excite attendees.
