Lizzo won a significant ruling in a legal case filed by stylist Asha Daniels, who accused her tour team of harassment and unpaid overtime.
A Los Angeles judge dismissed all claims against Lizzo personally, ruling that Daniels' employers were Lizzo’s touring companies, not the singer herself.
However, Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc remains a defendant. Some claims were dismissed because Daniels worked in Europe, where U.S. laws don't apply.
Daniels alleged a hostile, discriminatory work environment, but Lizzo denied these claims, calling the lawsuit a "publicity stunt."
This case echoes similar accusations from former dancers in 2023.
Lizzo continues to reject these allegations, maintaining her stance on body positivity and professionalism.
