Henry Fitz allegedly arrested months after Serwaa Amihere Intimate video leak

Henry Amponsah, known as Henry Fitz, has reportedly been arrested in connection with an extortion case involving GHOne TV broadcaster Serwaa Amihere.

Earlier this year, a private video of Henry Fitz and Serwaa leaked online, allegedly after Fitz's failed extortion attempt.

Serwaa filed a police complaint in April 2024, leading to charges against Fitz and two others for conspiracy and non-consensual sharing of intimate images.

While his co-accused appeared in court, Fitz went into hiding. The Dansoman Circuit Court later dismissed the case due to jurisdiction issues.

Reports suggest Fitz is now in custody at the Greater Accra Regional Police Headquarters, though the police have yet to confirm the arrest or provide details.
