Highlife legend Tumi Ebow Ansa accuses M.anifest of sampling his song ‘Owora’ in ‘Puff Puff’

Ghanaian rapper M.anifest faces controversy after Tumi Ebow Ansa, a legendary Highlife musician and father of artist M3NSA, accused him of sampling the classic track Owora in his 2024 song Puff Puff.

The track, featuring Nigerian Highlife duo The Cavemen, has been praised for blending traditional and modern sounds.

During a live interview on Starr FM, M.anifest denied knowledge of any sampling but expressed admiration for Ansa's contributions to Ghanaian music.
