How God guided Jimmy Odukoya’s hair journey to align with his divine purpose

In a recent sermon, Jimmy Odukoya, senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, shared his personal experience about keeping his dreadlocks.

He explained that his hair is not just a style choice. Instead, it represents divine instruction with a higher purpose.

Odukoya recalled asking God whether he should cut his hair. God told him not to cut it. He mentioned a conversation with a woman after returning home.

The woman confirmed that he was not supposed to cut his hair. Odukoya responded, “I know, because God already told me.”

He also shared a vision from 2016 where he saw her giving him instructions. At that time, he did not have long hair.

Odukoya emphasized how this vision impacted him deeply. He noted that if he had cut his hair, she might not have recognized him in 2025.

For Odukoya, his dreadlocks symbolize divine guidance and purpose in his life.
