Hunger is killing Instagram people — Peller reveals

Popular Nigerian streamer Peller has sparked online discussions. He recently stated that skit-making on Instagram is no longer profitable.

During a live session on TikTok, he noted a major shift in digital content. Many skit makers have moved to TikTok due to low income from Instagram.

He said, “You see any content creator for Instagram wey still dey post skit? E no dey pay.” He added that hunger is affecting many creators on Instagram.

Peller's comments reflect concerns among digital creators about changing audience behavior. TikTok’s popularity offers better engagement and earnings for skit makers.

In addition to discussing platforms, Peller shared a personal struggle. He talked about the emotional toll of being his family’s main provider.

In a heartfelt session with Sandra Benede, he revealed his strained family relationships. “I no like to the see my family again,” he said.

Peller explained that he sends them support but feels emotionally disconnected now. Their mindset does not align with his current mental state.
